Suvarnarekha, also known as chinna-Suvarnarekha and Sundari in Northern India, is a variety that can be easily identified by the red tinge near the stalk with thick skin. Fruit is medium, ovate-oblong. Base (top of the fruit)is slightly flattened and apex(bottom of the fruit)is round. Skin color is light cadmium with a blush of jasper red and with medium dots. The flesh of this variety is soft, fibreless, yellow in color with pleasant flavor, tastes sweet with abundant juice. Nutritional values - Mango is low in calories but full of nutrients.
