Sahaja Sesame Oil
Sahaja Sesame Oil or Sahaja Gingelly Oil is an edible oil made using sesame seeds. It is a cold pressed oil, organically grown, chemical pesticide free. A natural and good food item. It is directly procured from our farmers. Add health to your life!
It is used as a cooking oil and to enhance flavor. The color of the oil varies from colorless to golden color to a dark brown made from roasted seeds. Colorless oil has fewer flavors than the dark brown oil as it is produced from raw seeds.
Nutritional values - It contains Zinc which is an essential mineral. It contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds called sesamol. It has high protein content.
Health benefits - It helps in removing dental plaque and boosting oral health, combat diabetes, lowers blood pressure. It contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds called sesamol and is helpful against heart and inflammation related diseases. The essential minerals in it works for giving skin elasticity and repairing damaged tissues in the body. It is a big energy source and helps regulates cholesterol levels. It is a healthier choice for all and can also work as a laxative.
Cooking tips - Owing to its odorless and tastelessness, it is ideal for baking and as a salad oil. It is also used in the pickling process and for deep frying due to its high smoke point. Crumb coatings may also contain sesame oil.

Sahaja Groundnut Oil
The peanuts or the groundnuts are crushed to force out the oil. This low-heat process retains much of the natural peanut flavor and more nutrients than refining does. Sahaja Groundnut oil is a cold pressed oil, organically cultivated, free from chemical pesticides and being a good and nutritious food item, adds health to your life! It is directly procured from our farmers.
Nutritional values - It is also known as peanut oil and is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids MUFA. The main type of monounsaturated fat found in peanut oil is called oleic acid, or omega-9. It also contains high amounts of linoleic acid, a type of omega-6 fatty acid, and smaller amounts of palmitic acid, a saturated fat. PLEASE NOTE - The high amount of omega-6 fats that peanut oil contains may not be a good thing. These fats tend to cause inflammation and have been linked to various health problems.
However, it does contain a good amount of polyunsaturated fat, which is less stable at high temperatures.
On the other hand, peanut oil is a good source of vitamin E, an antioxidant that has many health benefits like protecting the body from free radical damage and reducing the risk of heart disease.
Health benefits - It lowers bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol keeping the heart healthy, thus, reducing the chance of heart stroke. It is effective against constipation, digestive problems, diarrhea and stomach disorders. It treats dandruff when few drops of groundnut oil, lime juice and a few drops of tea tree oil are mixed together and applied on the scalp. It is also a natural antiseptic.
Cooking tips - Used in cooking curries, lentils, biryanis and some tea snacks also.
